Grand Marais is part of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. There are several beaches to explore or simply sit and watch breath taking sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy multiple activities such as kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming, or looking endlessly for beautiful agates and other stones on many public beaches.

But the sight seeing doesn’t stop there! Some popular sights to see in Grand Marais are the Grand Sables Dunes and Falls, Au Sable Light station, the White Birch Forest, the Log Slide or any of the numerous lakes, beaches, and rivers.

Winter is a wonderful time to enjoy Grand Marais and explore the area on cross country ski and snowshoeing paths. With over 125 miles of groomed trails Grand Marais the hub of snowmobiling each season.
